July 2007 News
First of all we would like to welcome a new member to the Bogdanovich Racing Team he will be the fourth generation driver born on June 4th 2007 Greyson Michael Bogdanovich he arrived a little early but him and mother are both doing fine. We had just got back from the race in Huron SD the second leg of the Midwest Speedway Tour when Greyson decided that he was ready to enter this world. All of us can’t wait until he will be ready to start his racing career! Congratulations to Mary and Nick on the birth of Greyson.
As we get into this new season Joe has struggled some and we are trying to get it figured out. The second leg of the Midwest Speedway Tour in Huron turned out to be a disaster, we could not get the Optima going the way it should and that made for a long weekend. I think the best finish out of the four classes that Joe ran in was a fifth place finish in the JR Animal and lucky to get that. We think it was a combination of a new track and the wrong tires that was needed for this facility. Anyway with the nationals so close and the way that we are running we have decided not to attend the IKF Nationals in 2007.
We will continue to race the weekly shows at Wavelink Raceway Park in Waverly NE. Joe is second in points and runs in the Briggs Medium Class; this seems to be the most logical answer for us since we have not been a factor of late. Hopefully we can get things figured out and get back to the way that we like to run. The 2007 schedule has been updated and we have made changes accordingly.
On the other hand Nick Bogdanovich has started off like he has not been out of a Kart at all. With two early wins in the Blue Wazoom class at Wavelink Nick was off to a great start and with their new arrival was not able to race the last couple of weeks, but will be back this weekend at Wavelink. We hope to see everyone out at the track! And we will be updating the Web-Site with results and a revised schedule so stayed tuned.
