As the 2007 season draws near, Joe’s first race will be the 6th annual Coca-Cola Spring Showdown at the Semo Raceway located in Sikeston, Missouri.  At this race, Joe will be racing in three classes: the Junior 3 Gold plate (restricted) class, the Junior Stock (unrestricted) class and the Junior Animal Gold class.  Joe has never raced at this facility and he is looking forward to the challenge of a new track.  Joe has heard that the competition is very fast and competitive.

Joe’s 2007 schedule is posted and he plans on racing in two series this season. The first will be the I.K.F. MIDWEST SPEEDWAY TOUR SERIES consisting of the best 8 out of 10 races at 5 different tracks. The first race is scheduled at KARTWHEELS SPEEDWAY in Stanton NE, the second race will be at ROLLINGTHUNDER SPEEDWAY in Huron SD, the third race will be WAVELINK RACEWAY PARK in Waverly, NE, the fourth race will be at Renner SD, and the last stop on the tour will be at SHELDON COMPETITION PARK in Sheldon, IA.  This series is by far the best around and the competition is just as good. 

The other series that Joe will be competing in is the PRO K.A.R.T. series.  This is a new series that will take us throughout the Midwest.  This series will consist of the best 4 out of 5 races. The first race in this series will be at KARTWHEELS SPEEDWAY located in Stanton, NE.  The second stop will be at WELLINGTON, KS.  The third stop will be at PIPESTONE COUNTY SPEEDWAY in Pipestone, MN.  The fourth stop is at LASOSKI SPEEDWAY in Warrensburg, MO and the final stop of this series is at WINFIELD, KS.  This series is new to the Midwest and we can’t wait to see how it will be supported and operated.

We want everyone to know that the Bogdanovich Racing Team will have a couple of team members that will be returning to karting this season.  First will be Joe’s older brother Rick who will start racing at Wavelink Raceway Park this 2007 season.  Rick will be racing in the Blue Wazoom Super Heavy class.  Rick has not been in a Speedway Kart since 1997 and is getting excited about the return.  Also Joe’s cousin, Nick Bogdanovich will also be returning to karting.  Nick has been involved with Ryan Roberts Sprint Car operation as Ryan’s crew chief and decided to get back into karts.  Nick will also be racing in the Blue Wazoom class. They both return to their roots where it all began so many years ago.
